April is Occupational Therapy month. Occupational Therapists help people regain the ability to participate in the things they want and need to do on a daily basis. Our OTs develop individualized plans of care and implement therapeutic techniques to assist our residents in reaching their personal goals. Whether it be folding laundry, getting dressed, making dinner, balancing a checkbook, taking a shower, using utensils, opening doors, planting a garden, or playing basketball, OTs help people get back to their daily lives. Thank you to our OTs for everything you do for our residents. Pictured left to right; Gina Couch, Katie Combs, Brandi Hayes, and Carla Smith.
