Volunteers from Hazard Health and Rehabilitation Center will set out Tuesday with their singing telegrams and gifts purchased by a loved one.
The annual Valentine’s Day tradition helps raise money for the resident fund at the nursing home.
For 25 dollars you can get a singing telegram a box of chocolate or a rose. For 30 dollars you can get a singing telegram, box of chocolates and a rose.
Hazard HRC has continued this tradition for more than 30 years. The smiles from the public motivate them year after year. It has become a public service.
